12/5/2024 – I gotta say. He’s got balls.

I have long contemplated if its hubris, incompetence, or straight up bull-headed arrogance that leads Ryne to screw the types of people that he has, and is still continuing to every day.

As a disclaimer, I want to say that I truly do not wish any physical harm to come to Ryne, the Vitugs, or their accomplices. They will be held accountable as the hand of justice weighs heavily upon them from our court system at their inevitable sentencing.

On that note, to screw people out of $10k, $20k, $40k, $65k over and over, ignoring the fact that there could be real life ramifications outside of the courts, is madness. I honestly get anxiety thinking about how I would feel if I were in their position right now. Having to sell my house and essentially begin a life on the run. Knowing that every time you are out in public and someone calls your name, in the back of your head you wonder, “is this someone I screwed, or a 3 letter agency here to serve up justice?” All the while hoping that the victims you stole from are nice office types that don’t want to shame themselves publicly, and not the bruiser-type hot heads.

Moving on, not everyday is going to be filled with shocking news that tops the previous day. Hearing all your stories and spending the time putting this together does exact a mental toll. I feel each of your pain through every word and frustrated exclamation.

That’s why today we are going to discuss something that made me physically spit out my Dr.Pepper in true disbelief as the story continues to unfold.

Today’s story is brought to you by the letter E. As in the Elk Grove Village Police Department in Illinois. You know, the police department that is located just 18 minutes from Ryne’s previously listed location?

As in the department that Ryne screwed over? With a victim count north of 30 of our finest boys in blue!

I have information that this department, and many of the officers located there had been booking trips and vacation packages (some for over a year with Ryne), and he stole their hard-earned money too. 🫣 Nice going, Ryne. You definitely don’t eff over an entire squad of dudes (and dudettes) that do nothing but lift weights and dream of bashing criminals unless you got the stones to prove it. Or you’re just an idiot.

For the men and women in uniform that have reached out to share your stories and loss: Thank you! For those of you who are reading this and still feel that guilt and shame, don’t. You are far from alone and your stories and contacts matter tremendously. I would like to share a small snippet of a flowchart I have spent hours on to link victims back to their sources and help speed up any investigations ongoing or coming.
